Mrs. Irene Azzoli-Katowicz

Azzoli-Katowicz, Irene (DerHagopian) 88, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late, Anthony Azzoli and Charles Katowicz.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late, Charles and Rose (Hougasian) DerHagopian.
Irene was a hairdresser for many years before her retirement.
She is survived by her loving children, Rosemary Grossi, Michele Page and Michael Azzoli; cherished grandchildren, Melanie Gaspar, Matthew Grossi and Nicole Page and dear great-grandchildren, Arianna Lima and Lorenzo Grossi. She was the sister of the late, Michael, Gregory, Mary, Ann and Lillian.
Her funeral will be held Friday, August 7, 2015 at 8am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Thursday, August 6th from 4-7pm.
