Irene D. Farnesi

Irene D. Farnesi (Gianetti), 92 of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lena (Frenze) Gianetti. She lived in Providence for over 60 years before moving to Lincoln.
Irene was a faithful parishioner and choir member of Holy Cross Church in Providence for many years before becoming a parishioner of St. Ambrose Church in Albion. She worked for the State of Rhode Island - Department of Taxation for 20 years before retiring in 1997.
She is survived by her loving son, Michael Farnesi and his wife, Valerie; her cherished grandson, Kyle David Farnesi; and many nieces and nephews. She was the loving mother of the late David Farnesi and sister of the late Marie Morra and Evelyn Montella.
Irene's funeral and burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Ambrose Church Maintenance Fund, 191 School St., Albion, RI 02802.
