ISABEL CALITRI (DiPIRO), 84, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2007 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Peter Calitri. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Mary (Ballaro) DiPiro.
Mrs. Calitri was an expeditor for the former Henderson Manufacturing Co. of Lincoln. She spent her later years babysitting her granddaughter. An avid Red Sox fan, she also loved bingo, dancing and most of all, spending time with her family. She was a member of the Cranston Senior Citizens and the Jennings Manor Association.
She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Zanfagna and Barbara Izzo and her husband John; four sisters, Rose Lombardi, Josephine Pensotti, Gladys Mendillo, and Yolanda Rose, and four grandchildren, Edward and Andrea Zanfagna, Peter Zanfagna and Stephanie Izzo. She was the sister of the late Lawrence DiPiro.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Cranston Street.
