ISIDORE M. TRICARICO, 86, of Johnston, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Louise (Squeo) Tricarico. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Joseph and Maria (Lanzisera) Tricarico.
He was a precision toolmaker and owner of Trico Tool and Machine Co. until 1981. He later worked for Quill Co. from 1981 until 2001. He and his father designed and manufactured the pleating machine for Fram oil filters. He was a lifelong communicant of Holy Ghost Church where he served as a trustee as well as a Eucharistic Minister and Past President of the Holy Name Society. He was an Army Veteran of WWII serving in Europe.
Isidore was a loving husband and father and a devoted grandfather. Besides his wife of 54 years, he is survived by three sons, Joseph Tricarico and his wife Michelle, John Tricarico and Thomas Tricarico and his wife Teresa; two daughters, Maria Tricarico and her husband Frank San Severino and Christine Tricarico, and two grandchildren, Nicholas Tricarico and Domenic San Severino. He was the brother of the late Mary Tucci.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Atwells Ave., Providence.
