Jacqueline L. Petrecca (Barber), 95, of North Providence, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold D. Petrecca. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Mary (Lemoine) Barber. Jacqueline was a solderer at Lee's Manufacturing for 31 years. During WWII, she worked in the tool room at Quonset Point Naval Air Station, and was proud to have served in the war effort. She was passionate about reading and loved to play cards, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her daughters and their families. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Holmes and her husband Doug, Joyce Petrecca Lavine and her husband Harold, Janet Masso and her husband Tom, and Debra Judge and her husband Gary; seven grandchildren, Doug Holmes, Jr., Janelle Chaves, Matthew Holmes, Lori Masso, Philip Masso, Megan Pare and Aaron Judge, and six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Hector, Arthur, Roland and Natalie Barber, Marie Demers, Vivian Romano and Constance McGregor. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial will be private.
