Jeanie C. Robert

Jeanie C. (Barney) Robert, 78, of Coventry, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, at home. She was the wife of the late Norman Robert. Born in Helena, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Edwin and Betty Jo (Bass) Barney. 

Jeanie was the loving mother of Frederick Challands and Dawn Crandall (Gregory), grandmother of Lauren Oschwald (Ryan), Jennifer Gillissie (Stephen), Brett Crandall and Jessica Crandall (Christopher), great - grandmother of Layla Oschwald. She was the sister of Linda S. Bilida (Larry) and Shirley Toombs (Bryan), two nieces,  Ann Marie Lucas (Dee) and Sarah Bilida (Sam). She was the sister of the late Alton Barney.  

Her funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeanie’s memory may be made to Hasbro Children’s Hospital, 593 Eddy St. Providence, RI. 02903.
