Jennie Esposito

Jennie Esposito ( Maceroni), 92, of North Kingstown, passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 at Roberts Health Center in North Kingstown. She was the wife of the late G. John Esposito. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arduino and Angelina (Pelozzi) Maceroni.

Jennie was a member of the Woman’s Youth League of R.I. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She leaves a daughter, Barbara E. Samartano and her husband, Dr. Joseph G. Samartano; a sister, Elena Venditelli, two grandchildren, Michael J. and Melissa D. Samartano and two great grandchildren, Lindsey A. and John J. Samartano. She was the mother of the late Dorothy A. Esposito and the sister of the late Teresa Evangelista and Brigida Cioe.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 10 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church. 9 Garden Court, Garden City, Cranston. Visitation respectfully omitted. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made in support of the Pediatric Dental Center in care of St. Joseph Health Services, 200 High Service Ave., North Providence, RI 02904.
