Joan M. Jerome

Joan M. Jerome, 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Briarcliffe Manor surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late E. Raymond Jerome and Irving J. Malone.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Green) Langton. Joan worked as a registered nurse for St. Joseph Hospital and Pediatric Associates before retiring.  She was an active member of the St. Joseph School of Nursing Alumni and was a volunteer at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in Connecticut. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her two daughters, Joan Malone and Sharon Andreoli and her husband Bob; two sisters, Elizabeth "Biz" Peloquin and Margaret "Margo" Smith; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  She was the mother of the late Joseph Malone and sister of the late John Langton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.
