Joan H. Williams

Joan H. Williams, 84, of Johnston, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, December 1, 2022. She was the devoted wife of the late Lincoln A. Williams, who passed away four days before his beloved wife of 67 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Jessie (Neil) Bamber.

She is survived by her cherished children, Margaret “Peggy” Smith, RayLeene Bianca and her husband Richard and Lincoln A. Williams III and his wife Julia; a brother, William Bamber; a sister, Donna Ruggieri Littman; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edward Bamber, Richard Bamber, Sr. and Marilyn Ormond.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
