John Manzo

John P. Manzo, 83, of Johnston, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Patricia C. (Anderoli) Manzo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Pasco and Angelina (Simoli) Manzo.

 John worked at BJ’s Wholesale Club for the past 18 years. 

 He is survived by his daughters, Patty Kunzmann and her husband Paul, and Michele Scungio and her husband Anthony, four grandchildren, Kristina, Justin, Eric and Andrew, two great grandchildren, Maximus and Everly. 

 John was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. He loved the beach, spending time with his family and traveling to Disney World. John brought joy to everyone and his smile would light up the room. 

 His funeral will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be held Friday from 4-7 pm.
