John B. Sionni

JOHN B. SIONNI, 91, of Providence, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Barbara M. (Neri) Sionni for over 58 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Francesco and Theresa (Gallo) Sionni.

Mr. Sionni worked for Clark and Coombs Jewelry Manufacturing before retiring. An accomplished bowler, he was a member of the Cranston Bowling League.

A loving husband, father and grandfather, besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, John F. Sionni and his wife Susan and Michael A. Sionni; a brother Frank Sionni; two sisters, Florence Booth and Josephine Messier and three grandchildren, Christopher, Tara and Adam Sionni. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

His visitation will be held Tuesday Morning, March 29, 2016 from 8:30 – 10 a.m. followed by a service at 10 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
