José C. Rocha , 85, of North Providence, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Miriam Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Florinda (Sousa ) Rocha. Born in Terceira, Azores, he was the son of the late Jose C. Mendes and Maria A. Rocha.
José was hard working and devoted to his family. Besides his wife he leaves his loving children, Joe Alberto Rocha, Maria Haughey and Teresa Rocha and his beloved grandchildren, Kristina, Derek, Alex and Andre.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave., Pawtucket. Visitation Thursday 5-8pm. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
