Joseph Anthony Carpentieri. Jr., 20, of Johnston, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009. Born in Providence, he was the cherished son of Joseph A. Carpentieri, Sr. and Donna M. (Drowne) Carpentieri.
Joe had been working as a painter for Frank’s Painting, a business owned and operated by his uncle. It can be truly said that he lived life with a smile.
Besides his parents he leaves two sisters, Stephanie and Carissa Carpentieri; his paternal grandparents, Ennio and Adele (Ucci) Carpentieri; his maternal grandparents, Francis and Thelma (Folco) Drowne; his girlfriend, Amanda Irving and her son, Cameron.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Joseph A. Carpentieri, Jr. Memorial Fund, c/o RBC Wealth Management, 10 Weybosset St., Suite 600, Providence, RI 02903. Condolences at Maceroni.com
