Joseph A. DiPippo, 78, of Barrington, Rhode Island, passed peacefully on Saturday January 13, 2024. He was the son of the late Joseph R. and Nicole R. (Zeppetella) DiPippo and brother of the late Michael D. DiPippo. Joey is survived by his cousins Gina M. LeClair, Deborah Conti, Rocco L. Zeppetella, and their families.
Joey lived the past few years of his life under the expert care and loving environment provided to him by The James L. Maher Center. He was an avid participant of an activities packed day program and attended enjoyable events involving music, bowling, social gatherings, and eating Italian food on Federal Hill. A true Patriots and Yankees fan, you could always count on him to tell you current and historical stats on the teams and players. In addition to sports, he enjoyed watching game shows and western movies while eating Deborah’s homemade cookies. Joey left this world with dignity and respect that was imparted upon him every day.
With profound gratitude, Joey’s family would like to pay tribute to Deb, Randy, Donna, Jenny, Sarah, Kayla, Will, Simon, Walker, the staff at Puritan Drive, the staff at Upland Way, the staff at Jenny Lane, the staff at Maher Center, Visiting Nurse Home and Hospice of Portsmouth, and HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care. Please know you were all very important to him. You made sure he had a complete and wonderful life that would not have existed without you.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 9:00 am at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
