Joseph R. DiPippo, 86, of Johnston, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Nicole R. (Zeppetella) DiPippo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michael and Rita (Bellucci) DiPippo.
Joseph worked at Gorham Manufacturing for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Manton Senior Citizens and the Johnston Senior Bowling League and was a Marine Veteran of WWII.
Besides his wife of 65 years, he leaves a son, Joseph A. DiPippo; a brother, Ronald DiPippo and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was the father of the late Michael D. DiPippo and the brother of the late Alfred DiPippo and Geneva Nardi.
Visitation Saturday morning from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
