Joseph E. Sciarra

Joseph E. Sciarra, 45, of Las Vegas, formerly of North Providence, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his home. He was the beloved son of David Sciarra and the late Gloria (Piti) Sciarra.

Joseph was a supervisor at the Mirage Casino. He moved out to Las Vegas at the age of 23 and began his career working at the Treasure Island Casino. Joseph (Joey) loved spending time with his family and his friends and was loved by all. He was outgoing, witty and fun-loving and everyone just loved to be around him. He brought laughter and happiness to all of us that knew him. Joseph had a way of bringing everyone together. He was dearly loved and will be terribly missed.

Besides his father, he is survived by his sister, Kimberly Sciarra Albanese; a brother, David C. Sciarra and his wife Debbie; his two cherished nephews, David Sciarra, Jr. and Antonio Albanese, and his cherished niece, Taylor Albanese.

Visiting hours will be Thursday morning, March 17, 2022 from 8:30-10:00 AM, at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 4th St., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
