JOSEPH SOPRANO, 78. of Warwick, formerly of Cranston, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2007. He was the beloved husband of the late Helena (Castaldi) Soprano. Born in Providence, the son of the late Benedetto and Antonetta (Lepizzera) Soprano, he was the owner and operator of Soprano’s market in Cranston for over 25 years.
He is survived by a son, Joseph W. Soprano; three daughters, Judith G. Bruzzese and her husband Thomas M. Bruzzese, Esq., Joanne L. Soprano and her husband Roland Boiteau and Jane E. Soprano, with whom he lived; two sisters, Filomena Ricci and Theresa Miller. He was the brother of the late John and Frank Soprano and Virginia Piotti.
Funeral from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St. North Providence, Saturday at 9am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Cranston. VISITATION Friday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
