Lawrence N. DiSarro, 87, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Cortland Place. He was the beloved husband of Anna (Celentano) DiSarro. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Concetta (Longo) DiSarro.
He had worked as a polisher for A & H Duffy, working on A.T Cross pens. He also worked as a barber and was known as “Larry the Barber”.
Besides his wife of 65 years, he is survived by a son, Peter A. DiSarro and his wife, Donna; a daughter, Shirley A. Raymond and her husband, Ed; a daughter-in-law, Carol DiSarro, two sisters, Josephine Sanzi and Jennie Minda; five grandchildren, Lawrence DiSarro, Jr., Attorney Stephanie DiSarro-Anderson, Stacy DiSarro-Enright, Lisa Martin and Michael DiSarro and two great grandsons, D.J. and Lucas. He was the father of the late Lawrence A. DiSarro and the brother of the late Angelo and Americo DiSarro, Mary Custard, Margaret Mazzocca and Angela Johnson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11am on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Visiting hours respectfully omitted.
