Lawrence P. Zeppa, 66, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Roger Williams Medical Center. He was the beloved and devoted husband of Nancy L. (Magno) Zeppa for 38 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Annunziata “Lucy” (Marolla) Zeppa.
Larry worked as an independent optical sales representative. A sports enthusiast, he was a huge New York Giants, Boston Red Sox, and Celtics fan. Larry’s zest for life, smile, humor, and kindness will be greatly missed by his cherished family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his much-loved sisters, Carol A. DiMeo and her husband Robert and Lorraine M. Kindle and her husband Jeffrey; his loyal brother-in-law, Arthur P. Magno and his wife Patricia; many adored nieces and nephews, and his treasured canine companion, Princess.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 10 a.m., in St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence. Entombment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery Mausoleum, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry’s memory may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
