Lena DiFalco-Cerbo (Mollicone), 89, of Providence, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. She was the wife of the late Edward DiFalco. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Bernardo and Maria (DeSantis) Mollicone.
Lena had worked as an inspector for Monet Jewelers and Charisma Manufacturing.
She leaves a daughter, Elaine DiFalco, with whom she resided; a son, Joseph Cerbo and his wife Linda; a daughter-in-law, Joan DiFalco; a sister, Vera Rossi; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Edward DiFalco, Jr. and Linda Cerbo and the sister of the late Armando and Alfred Mollicone, Assunta Cairone, Mary Antuono and Angelina Bottone.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. Visitation Thursday 5-8pm. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Please omit flowers.
