Lena Sarli

Lena Sarli (Dorazio) 88, formerly of Forand Circle, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Antonio Sarli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Consiglia (Bertone) Dorazio and stepdaughter of the late Genoveffa (Bertone) Dorazio.
Lena had worked as a jewelry assembler for Nu-Lee and Ernest I. Daner & Sons of Providence before retiring in 1981.
She is survived by a son, Richard Sarli; a brother, Thomas Dorazio; two sisters, Theresa Spagnolo and Celia Damiano; two grandchildren, Kim-Marie Stalaboin and Kevin Sarli, and two great-grandchildren, Katelynn and Alyssa Stalaboin. She was the mother of the late Anthony Sarli and the sister of the late Louis, Tony, Nicholas and John Dorazio and Susie Sarli.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. VISITATION Thursday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
