Levia Savone

Levia Savone, 98, of Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 19, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Matthew F. Savone, Sr.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Virgino and Olympia (Leone) DiFusco. A loving and devoted mother, she is survived by her son, Matthew Savone; her brother, Louis DiFusco; and many nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Harry, Vincent and Genaro DiFusco, Florence Iarocci and Ann Brien. Visitation will be held on Monday Morning, December 23, 2019 from 8:15 - 9:15 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Ave., Providence.  Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
