Lillian Anita Murphy

Lillian A. Murphy, 94 passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Dolphin Pointe Health Care, Jacksonville, Florida. She was the wife of the late Francis Murphy and the former wife of the late Jules L. Asselin. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Herman and Clara Belle (Moreau) Malouin.

Mrs. Murphy was an Assembler at the Corning Glass Works for many years before retiring.

Lillian was the mother of Paulette Jameson (Paul), Susan Stephen (Gabe) and the late Dennis Asselin (Janina); Grandmother of Brent Jameson (Amy), David (Jen) and Damion Asselin, Gregg Jameson, Heather Stephen (Danny), Courtney Olson (Derek) and Jonathan Stephen (Abby); great-grandmother of Nicholas (Amanda), Melissa (Isaac) and Stephen Jameson, Parker and Savannah Olson; great great-grandmother of Ella Knisley and Matthew Trout. She was the last surviving sibling of seventeen.

A private service was held on Friday June 10, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
