Linda Rose Harris

Linda R. (Ciolfi) Harris, 85, of Providence, passed away on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Harris for 61 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Emilio Ciolfi and the late Virginia Maddalena.

A loving and devoted mother and Nana, she is survived by her five children: Laura Harris and her partner, Michael Ferreira; Jean Congdon and her husband, Walter; Robert Harris and his wife, Michelle; Carolyn Pires, and her fiancé, Jeffrey Arsenault; and Christine Howe and her husband Patrick. She is also survived by her siblings: Henry Ciolfi, Danny Maddalena, Richard Maddalena, Lorraine Maddalena, Judy Ciolfi, Bobby Ciolfi, and Elaine Volpe; and eight grandchildren Michael St. Laurent, Alyssa May, Callie Ponder, Patrick Howe, Courtney Howe, Mia Rose Pires, Ryan Harris, and Dylan Pires.

Her love of life revolved around her family and friends whom she loved to cook for. Linda loved watching movies, crime shows and game shows.  She enjoyed family game night and had a special love for all of their family dogs.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 2nd from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. Her funeral will be held on Monday, July 3rd, 2023 at 9:00 am from the Maceroni Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence then proceed to St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston, RI.
