Lori Ann Lepore

 Lori Ann Lepore (Cardente), RN (Retired), 63, of Cranston, RI and Punta Gorda, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 18, 2024. She was the wife of Michael J. DeCristoforo. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Linda (Dubois) Tramontano and grew up in North Providence, RI.

Lori attended the former Saint Patrick's School and at the age of seventeen enlisted and proudly served her country in the US Army and the Air National Guard before she earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Rhode Island College. Lori spent her entire nursing career in various hospitals and health centers in Rhode Island and Florida. She retired in 2017 from 21st Oncology.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter Renee Nixon (Spiegel) and her husband George, and her son Matthew Lepore and his fiancé Emily Wilkinson; her two grandchildren, River Nixon and Ian Nixon, her nieces Ashley, Angelina, and Ava, her stepdaughters Nicole and Jaclyn, aunts, uncles and cousins. Her sister, Lynn, predeceased her.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 4-7 PM at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, January 25th at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
