Louis DeAngelis

July 12, 1924 — March 25, 2006

LOUIS DeANGELIS, 81, of Hagan Manor, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Guido and Albina (Donia) DeAngelis.

Louis was co-owner and operator of DeAngelis & Son Auto Body of Providence. He was a member of the Imperial Club. He served his country in the Navy during WWII and was a member of VFW Post 10011 of North Providence. He was an ardent Yankee fan and loved gardening and cooking. He also loved to play the guitar and sing at family functions.

He is survived by a brother, Anthony DeAngelis; a sister, Mary Crocker; seven nieces and three nephews. He was the brother of the late Emanual DeAngelis, Teresa Nardone and Rose Martini.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 8am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St. North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Pius Church, Eaton St., Providence. VISITATION Monday 7-9pm. Entombment will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Philip Hulitar
