Lucia Norma Ricci-Curcio (Sergiacomi), 90, of North Providence, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Amelio D. Ricci, and the mother of the late Norman A. Ricci. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Adeline (Franciose) Sergiacomi Norma co-founded A. Ricci & Sons Construction along with her husband in 1965. She was adventurous and ageless, and loved spending her winters in Florida. She enjoyed traveling and driving anywhere, taking her grandchildren on many road trips. At the age of 75 she braved snowmobiling to Canada with her grandson Norman, who also enjoyed putting her on the back of an ATV. Her backyard was a place for family to gather where all her grandchildren celebrated many birthdays She is survived by her son, Joseph R. Ricci, and his wife Diane; two daughters, Sandra Petrarca, and her husband John, and Jeannine Minutelli; a brother, Louis Sergiacomi; six grandchildren, Angel, Peter, Jina, Thomas, Jodi and Jacklyn, nine great-grandchildren, and her former husband and constant companion, Thomas Curcio. She was the sister of the late Henry Sergiacomi, grandmother of the late Norman A. Ricci, Jr., and mother-in-law of the late Joseph M. Minutelli Visiting hours will be Thursday morning, February 14, 2019, from 8:45 to 10:15 a.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
