LUCY M. (PIRRAGLIA) COLVIN, 98, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Home & Hospice Care of RI. She was the wife of the late George Colvin. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Pelosi) Pirraglia.
Lucy was a homemaker, a talented and creative cook, and the most kind-hearted lady you could ever hope to meet.
She is survived by her son, David Colvin; a brother, Francis Pirraglia; and a sister, Dr. Rosemary Pirraglia. She was the sister of the late Louis Pirraglia, Thomas Pirraglia, John “Jack” Pirraglia, Dr. Joseph Pirraglia, Gloria Pirraglia and Anna Lancellotti.
Visitation will be held Wednesday Morning, December 23, 2015 from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations in Lucy’s memory may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
