Lucy F. Colacone (Salzillo), 85, of North Kingstown, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 at South County Nursing Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Colacone. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Mario and Marianna Salzillo.
Lucy had worked as a clerk at the former Woolworth’s Department Store in Providence. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She leaves two sons, David M. Colacone and his companion, Eliza and Dennis A. Colacone and his wife, Deborah; a brother, Edward Salzillo; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Raymond Salzillo and Gloria Vendetti.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service, Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown. Please omit flowers.
