Luz E. Ortiz

Luz E. Ortiz, 81, of North Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 16, 2018 surrounded by her cherished family.  Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Felix Ortiz and Arcelia (Colon) Gonzalez. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, she is survived by her four children, Betty Virella, Ivette Virella, Edward Virella and Miguel Virella; three brothers, Enrique, Emilio and Frankie Gonzalez; a sister, Nancy Gonzalez; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  She was the mother of the late Anette Virella. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Luz's Life on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 4 p.m. in Calvary Worship Center, 120 Prospect St., Woonsocket.
