Manuel G. Vernancio

June 22, 1956 — January 26, 2024

Manuel G. “Manny” Vernancio, 67, of North Providence, passed away on Friday January 26, 2024, at Woonsocket Health Center, Woonsocket. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Manuel C. and Catherine (Trambukis) Vernancio.

 

Manny was one of the 1st graduates of the RI Jewelry Institute. He had a long career as a plater in the jewelry industry. He was also Quality Manager at Blackhawk Machine Products and manager at Bailey's Pub for several years. 

 

Manny was an avid Boston Bruins fan and had a life long passion for music.  He played the drums for several local bands throughout RI with family and friends of his. 

 

 Manny leaves two brothers, Michael C. Vernancio and John J. Vernancio, one sister, Barbara A. Giorgi. He also leaves 10 nieces and nephews, and 10 great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all family and friends.   

 

 Visitation will be held Thursday Morning, February 1, 2024, from 10:00 a.m.- 11:15 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Prayer Service at 11:15 a. m. Burial will be private.
