Margaret Del Vecchio (Petrucci), 92, of Johnston, passed away, Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Cortland Place. She was the wife of the late Frank DelVecchio. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Tobias and Luisa (Piacitelli) Petrucci.
Mrs. DelVecchio had worked as a bookkeeper for Pinta Products before retiring.
She is survived by her cherished daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and Joseph Hopkins; her loving niece, Gloria Porter; her loving friend, Ann Adessi and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Antonio, John, Gaetano and Ernest Petrucci, Evelyn Brough, Lillian Monti, Eleanor McCoy, Anna Newlin and Elizabeth Perotti.
Visitation at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, Saturday morning from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Edward Church Food and Wellness Center, 1001 Branch Ave., Providence, RI 02904.
