Maria "Mena" Ianiero

MARIA “MENA (PALLESCHI) IANIERO, 80, of Cranston and formerly of Federal Hill, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Perry D. Ianiero. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Vittoria (DellaVentura) Palleschi.

She is survived by her three devoted children, Michael P. Ianiero and his wife Deborah, Robert Ianiero and his wife Laurie and Lynn M. Ianiero-Barkett and her husband Joseph; seven treasured grandchildren, Gianni Ianiero, Santini Ianiero, Bianca M. Ianiero-Martin, Salvatore Ianiero, Perry Anthony Barkett, Adriarna M. Ianiero and Gia M. Barkett; and many cherished extended family and friends. She was the sister of the late Joseph Palleschi.

Her funeral will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 7:30 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. at St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston. Interment will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
