Mario Amore, 80, of North Providence, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at home. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alberto and Antonetta (Giglio) Amore.
Mario had worked as an assembler for the Blackstone Valley Center for 25 years. He was part of the Re-Focus family for 30 years and was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and a member of St Charles Borromeo Church, both of Providence. He is survived by his brother, Arthur Amore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 27, 2009 at 12 noon in St. Thomas Church, followed by burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
