Martha J. Stepanian

Martha J. Stepanian, 86, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Kent Hospital. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Yevkin (Balian) Stepanian.
Martha was a secretary for the Rhode Island Workmans Compensation Court for over 35 years, before retiring in 2002. A faithful member of Saints Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Church, she taught Sunday School there for oveer35 years.
She is survived by several, nieces, nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mesrob Vartanian, Garabed Vartanian, Stephen Stepanian and Berch Stepanian.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. in Saints Sahag & Mesrob Church, 70 Jefferson St., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will be Private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Martha’s memory may be made to Saints Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Church, 70 Jefferson St., Providence, RI 02908.
