She was a former employee of the State of Rhode Island for 19 years, retiring as a clerk secretary from the Department of Health in 1996.
She is survived by her sons, Arthur G. Marandola, Jr. (Kathy), David P. Marandola (Jean) and a daughter, Susan J. Kolovson (Bruce); six grandchildren Marissa, Mark, Laura, Noel, Alicia and Jason, nine great-grandchildren, Bryce, Maci, Cooper, Liliana, Nora, Weston, Maxwell, Asher and Riley. She was the sister of the late Anthony and Evelyn Marchetti and grandmother of the late Matthew N. Marandola.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston.
