Mary M. Marcoccio

Mary M. Marcoccio, 100, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Scandinavian Home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Joseph Marcoccio.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leonardo and Elvira (Caldarone) Marra. Mrs. Marcoccio worked for Carla Corporation for over 20 years before retiring.  Her family would like to thank the incredible staff at Scandinavian Home for the compassionate care extended to Mary during her stay. She is survived by her five daughters, Vera Lanni and her husband Anthony, Bridget Marcoccio, Jo-Ann Marcoccio, Karen Saracina and Mary Singleton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.  She was the sister of the late Joseph and John Marra. Visitation will be held Wednesday Morning, October 3, 2018 from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mark Church, 9 Garden Ct. Cranston.  Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Marcoccio's memory may be made to: Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI  02904.
