Mary L. Newton

Mary L. Newton, 87, of North Providence, passed away on Friday October 13, 2023, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Anna (Connors) Newton.

She was an office worker at Machine Parts for many years before retiring. Mary loved spending time with her family and had a deep passion for animals.

Mary leaves her nieces Lynda Neville and her husband Dennis and Diane DeGiovanni, a nephew Paul Newton and his wife Dianne, great nieces and nephews, Erin Neville and her boyfriend Logan Laffey, Brian Neville and his fiancée, Vanessa Mendes, Alexander Newton, Meagan Newton and her longtime friend Janet Colvin. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law Oscar Newton and his wife Theresa and Paul Newton and his wife Doris.

Visitation will be held Thursday Morning, October 19, 2023, from 8:30 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Mary Mother of Mankind Church , 25 4^th Street St., North Providence at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
