Mary W. Rosetta

MARY W. ROSETTA (Mahon), 93, a resident of North Providence for 38 years, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Orchard View Manor in East Providence. She was the wife of the late John Rosetta. Born in Newton, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Frazier) Mahon.
Mary had been employed as a Dietary Aide at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital for 10 ½ years. She was a member of the Maple Gardens Association and the North Providence Senior Citizens.
She is survived by a son, John “Jack” O. Rosetta and two daughters, Helen T. Rosetta, with whom she had lived for two years, and Jane W. Cardosa. She was the mother of the late George W. Rosetta and the sister of the late Helen T. Smith.
The Funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. VISITATION Monday 5-8 pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McAuley House, 163 Niagara St., Providence, R.I. 02907.
