MaryJane Votta

January 13, 1940 — July 14, 2024

MaryJane M. Votta, 84, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday July 14, 2024, at Roger Williams Hospital, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Votta, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and MaryJane (Byrns) Curran.

 She was a self-employed CNA in the healthcare industry for many years.

 MaryJane is survived by her two children, Joseph T. Votta and his wife Karen and Marjane M. Rampone and her husband Anthony, four grandchildren, Taryn Votta, Thomas Votta, Rianna Kirkwood and A.J. Rampone, two great-grandchildren, Sophie Richard and Charlotte Richard. She was the sister of the late Patricia Callaghan and Thomas H. Curran, Jr.

 Visitation will be held Thursday morning, July 18, 2024, from 9:00 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of the Presentation, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in MaryJane’s memory may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, 1 State St. #501, Providence, RI 02908.
