Norma M. Ferri, aged 97, passed away on July 29, 2023.
Norma was born on May 9, 1926 in Alliance , Ohio and she resided there until the age of 6 when her family moved to Rhode Island. Norma was an inspirational woman who graduated from Bryant University with a business degree in 1948 and went on to run the business office of a major RI manufacturing company. She married her husband, Anthony in 1950 and raised a family while residing in intermittent military installations across the United States during war and peacetime. Norma and Anthony's roots were strong in RI, and they built their home in Providence in 1961 and resided there until they passed away.
Norma is survived by her son, Anthony, and his wife, Linda; her grandchildren, Steven, Lauren, Penny and Kelly and their significant others; her 4 great-grandchildren Landon, Liam, Brooke and Ryan; and her nieces and nephews. Norma was predeceased by her loving husband of over 70 years, Anthony; her beloved daughter, Janice; and her older brother, Eugene.
My mom was a kind and gentle soul sprinkled with spirit and sass! She will be deeply missed, but we're sure she's resting peacefully with her husband and daughter - and getting an earful from them!
