Orlando L. Marciano

November 19, 1919 — October 6, 2021

Orlando L. Marciano, 101, of East Providence, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. He was the husband of the late Jessie (Silva) Marciano. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Raphael and Alessandra (DeCubellis) Marciano.

Mr. Marciano was a jewelry designer for Vargas Manufacturing for many years before retiring. He was an Army Veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his son, Ralph Marciano and his wife Denise; his daughter, Janice Abatiello and her husband Brian; four granddaughters, Jessica, Jennifer, Erin and Rachel; and eight great-grandchildren, Dominic, Orlando, Ava, Jase, Amara, Abigail, Benjamin and Alsessandra. He was the brother of the late Alfred Marciano, Carlo Marciano, Carmela Capraro and Georgina Marciano.

Visitation will be held Tuesday Morning, October 12, 2021 from 8:15 - 9:15 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Atwells Ave., Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
