PEARL SINGLETON, 79, of Providence, passed away Friday, November 10, 2006, at Steere House. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Roderick G. and Jane (Murray) Singleton.
Pearl had worked as a packer at Nyman Manufacturing of Providence for 39 years. She was a volunteer at the Federal Hill House and she also loved to rollerskate.
She leaves three beloved sisters, her twin sister, Pauline Singleton, Jane Pichette and Ida Proulx and two beloved brothers, Robert Singleton and Ernest Singleton and many devoted nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Raymond Singleton, Roderick G. Singleton, Jr, Charles Singleton and Henry Singleton, Sr.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Brayton Ave., Providence. VISITATION, Wednesday 5-8pm. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence.
