Peter Scarpellino

Peter Scarpellino, 94, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Bagdigian) Scarpellino. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Michele and Maria (Checchia) Scarpellino.

Peter was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and worked as a printer at Federated Lithographics.

He is survived by his sons, Charles M. Scarpellino and Richard M. Scarpellino, and his niece, Beverly Scarpellino, who was the wife of Peter's late nephew, Michael J. Scarpellino. He also leaves several great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his son, Peter A. Scarpellino, and his siblings, John, Vincent, Anthony, Rose and Anna Scarpellino.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St, North Providence, at 11 a.m. His burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
