Manchester, NH – Priscilla Alexander passed away on Tuesday, September 24, after a heroic battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Nashua, NH, Priscilla was the daughter of Roland and Norma (Caron) Bosse. She was a graduate of Nashua High School and earned an associate’s degree from Hesser College.
Priscilla was a stay-at-home mom, raising her two daughters while managing a small in-home dressmaking business. She later became the manager for J.P. Stevens Wool Outlet Store and later was the Office Manager for the Wiggin & Nourie law firm. She retired from Public Service of NH in 1994 in the capacity of Office Supervisor.
Priscilla especially welcomed the opportunity to encourage people to be the very best they could be. She loved her family most, but also enjoyed music, reading, playing the recorder and piano, baking and riding her bicycle. She derived much pleasure giving bible studies and sharing God’s word. Her precious companions were Simba, Sebastian and Ben, her cats.
Around her neighborhood, Priscilla was known as the “Walking Lady”, sometimes referred to as “The Legend”. Rain, snow or shine, she walked her five miles every day with doggie treats in her pocket to give to those she met along the way. She especially enjoyed talking with the fire fighters who are housed on Calef Road.
Priscilla is survived by many family members including her daughters, Pamela Stiles (Chichester) and Leslie Caza (Covington, TN) and her husband Steve, and five grandchildren: Rebekah Stiles of Cambridge, MA; Dr. Katherine Stiles of Warwick, RI and her husband, Jay Pjojian; Shannon Sorensen and her husband Christopher of Thailand; Emily Berlin and her husband, Andrew of Athens, TN; and Isaac Caza and his wife Madeline of Ooltewah, TN. She also leaves six great grandchildren: Alina, Jeshua, Selah, Alexander, Anderson and Nathaniel. She is survived by her sisters Jacqueline Sofianos of San Diego, CA and Elaine Dolbec of Dover, NH and her brother Michael Bosse of St. Lambert, Quebec and many nieces and nephews.
