Ralph C Mandarini., 92, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Golden Crest Nursing Centre. He was the beloved husband of Immacolata (Lepre) Mandarini. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Pansera) Mandarini.
Mr. Mandarini was a foreman for Esposito Jewelry before retiring. As a journey carpenter he had worked in the Fields Point Shipyard during WWII and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Carpenters.
Besides his wife of 69 years, he is survived by two sons, Richard R. Mandarini and his wife Maria and Dr. David Mandarini and his wife Roseann; a brother, John Mandarini; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Joseph Mandarini and the brother of the late Louis Mandarini.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Visitation Monday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Golden Crest Nursing Centre Alzheimer Unit, 100 Smithfield Rd., North Providence, RI 02904.
