RAYMOND J. JOHNSON, JR., 67, of Johnston, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Deborah J. (Loffredo) Johnson. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Raymond J. Johnson Sr. and Mary (Sullivan) Johnson.
Mr. Johnson worked as an Electrician for Industrial Electric before retiring. He was a 45 year member of the IBEW Local 99. A loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, he always enjoyed spending time with his wife at his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Besides his wife of 46 years, he is survived by a son, Raymond J. Johnson III and his wife Jennifer; a daughter, Michele Capraro and her husband Ronald Capraro, Jr.; and three grandchildren, Victoria Johnson, Alyssa Johnson and Michael Capraro.
Visitation will be held Wednesday Morning, October 29, 2014 from 8 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
