Raymond Pistoni

Raymond Guido Pistoni, age 91, of North Providence passed away at home on Sunday, August 18, 2024. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Manieri) Pistoni who preceded him in 1985. Raymond was the second son of the late Guido and Margaret (Simonelli) Pistoni and brother of the late Thomas and Robert Pistoni. He was the loving father of Donna Joyal and her husband David and Raymond Pistoni Jr. (Danielle). Raymond was the adored grandpa to Dorothy and David Joyal and Nicholas, Dylan, Mathew and the late Tara Pistoni and great grandpa to Cameron and Jayden. He was the longtime companion to Mary Cipriano.

Raymond was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He retired from Benny’s Inc. after many years of service and he was also a mechanic by trade.

Raymond was happiest spending time with his family, cooking, giving endless belly rubs to great grandpups Romeo and Brady and frequenting casinos.

In his earlier years, Raymond found great pleasure in spending time at his New Hampshire residence that he and his late wife purchased. He also enjoyed repairing his and his family’s cars and fixing whatever was broken. He lived up to the saying ”Grandpa can fix anything.“
