Richard A. Ciullo died peacefully at his home in North Ft. Myers, Florida, on Sunday, March 10, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Jeannette (Aube) Ciullo, for 56 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alfonso "Al" Ciullo and Adeline "Lilly" Ciullo.
Dick graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Carpenters Union, Local 94. He worked at the L. Vaughn Woodworking Company of Warwick for 32 years. Dick and Jeannette married in 1956 and moved to Johnston where they raised their family. Dick was active in the Johnston Community including serving as President and coach in the Johnston Youth Hockey League and as Assistant Scout Master, Troup 1, Graniteville.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Rick Ciullo and his wife Tammy, of Warren, NJ, and Steven Ciullo, and his wife Michelle, of Mansfield, MA; his daughter, Sandra Fratto, and her husband Bob of Braintree, MA, and eight grandchildren, Jaclyn Hatch and her husband Russell, Nicole Fratto, Tom Fratto, Matthew Ciullo, Hannah Ciullo, Christopher Ciullo, Meghan Ciullo and Karissa Ciullo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
