Richard F. Bennett, Jr., 90, of East Providence, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 at Epoch Senior Living. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Richard F. and Helen (Lockerie) Bennett.
Richard had worked for Texaco Oil Company and was an Army Veteran of WWII.
He is survived by a niece, Sotera Bennett; a nephew, Richard F. Bennett and his wife Deborah; two great nephews, Randy and Gregory Bennett and a dear friend, Barbara Machado. He was the brother of the late Malcolm E. Bennett.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. Visitation respectfully omitted. Burial with Military Honors will be in New Pawtuxet Cemetery, Warwick.
